Translations
Our translation price depends on the target language, the subject matter, delivery deadline and length of the document. The price includes translation, editing, proofreading, and basic formatting. One translation page corresponds to 1500 characters, without spaces, in the source text.
If you are interested in receiving a freecost estimate and timetable for a translation project, please contact us by e-mail info@progreso.lt or fill in this form. We will contact you to discuss your project.
Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting. Consecutive interpreters repeat what a speaker says, translating it orally into another language. The speaker and interpreter work together, so that the presentation alternates between a few sentences in the source language (the speaker) and those same sentences rendered in the target language (the interpreter).
Simultaneous interpreting. Interpreters repeat what the speaker says in real time, translating it orally into another language, lagging only a few seconds behind the speaker. There are no breaks in the presentation. Simultaneous interpreters use electronic equipment, working in soundproof booths or open environments. Moreover, simultaneous interpreters typically work in pairs, replacing one another approximately every 20 minutes.
Certification
Notary certification
A notary has the right to certify the signature of the translator who has translated the document and the copy of the document. In case you wish to certify both the translator’s signature and the copy, we ask to provide the original of the document.
Translation office certification
If there is no need for notary certification, we are able to offer our certification. We will certify the signature of the translator who has translated the document and bares the responsibility for the translation.
